Sagene Teaterlag: “Songs daddy played”

On Thursday, April 30, Sagene Teaterlag plays their theater concert “Sanger pappa spilte” at Agora Lilleborg!

Dad. Father. Father.

We all have our unique relationships with our fathers. We all have our memories, struggles and stories. What the three of us have in common is that our fathers played music for us when we were young. Sitting down with us at the cassette player to show us a song from our childhood. Asked us to listen to an extra verse from the stereo in the car. Turned up the volume when the intro to our favorite song started.

What have these moments meant to us? How have the songs Dad played shaped our relationship with our fathers, the music, and not least ourselves?

“Sanger pappa spilte” is a low-key theater concert that alternates between personal stories and music by artists such as Lillebjørn Nilsen, Vamp, Kris Kristofferson and Øystein Sunde.

The performance lasts about an hour.
